"I wish this world was a landscape picture in monochrome."
I started out as an Electrical Engineer. I ended up a storyteller. The two disciplines aren't as far apart as they sound — both are about understanding systems, finding what connects, and making something complicated feel inevitable.
On screen, I write Atmospheric Realism and High-Concept Thrillers. My debut feature The Devil's Covenant won Best Horror Screenplay at Melbourne, selected at London Lift-Off and the British Horror Film Festival, and earned a place in the Writers' Room at Lift-Off Global. Two more features are in active development.
On the page, I'm a copywriter. Not the kind who dresses up mediocre products in clever language — the kind who actually believes that a single well-placed sentence can change what someone does next. I've written charity campaigns that moved people to donate, brand copy that made luxury feel earned, and emails with subject lines people couldn't ignore.
My background in screenwriting is the unfair advantage. I know how to build tension across a paragraph, how to make a reader feel something before they realise they've been moved, and how to end on a line that stays with you. That's not a copywriting skill — it's a storytelling one. And it's what I bring to every brief.

Fast-turnaround digital content for brands requiring editorial quality under deadline pressure.
A screenwriter doesn't just describe — they make you feel the room, understand a character in a single line, and believe in a world that doesn't exist. That same discipline is what I bring to copy.
From charity campaigns built to move hearts, to lifestyle brands built to move product — I write with clarity, emotional precision, and a deep respect for the reader's intelligence.
Screenwriters get bombarded with industry newsletters every single day. When Submitline — a platform connecting screenwriters with production studios — partnered with StudioY to officially produce a script from one of their writers, it was genuinely massive news.
But a standard "We've Partnered!" press release would have been buried in the promotions tab before anyone opened it. The goal wasn't just to share the news. It was to drive immediate action and sell pitching tokens. We needed a hook that cut through the noise, tapped into the ultimate screenwriter dream, and created urgency without sounding like a cheap sales pitch.
Hi Judith,
What if the next screenplay StudioY produces is yours?
We're thrilled to announce that Submitline has officially added StudioY to our roster. They are actively scouting our platform right now to find one of our writers' screenplays to officially produce.
Yes, really. And it could absolutely be yours.
To help you get your pages in front of them, I want to give you a head start. Use the promo code STUDIOYFORUS20 at checkout to get 20% off all pitching tokens.
Don't wait on this. Grab your tokens and shoot your shot.
Best,
